The frequency of your preventive care is based upon your unique circumstances and needs.
• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning | At each initial examination appointment, we will take x-rays of your teeth and perform any necessary diagnostic work. Dr. Sweet and Dr. Burns will personally check your teeth to identify any potential problems and prescribe necessary treatment early, when dental issues are the easiest to treat. All patients will be examined a minimum of once per year, however x-rays are determined on an as-needed basis.
• Dental Decay Treatment | With dental decay treatment from Peninsula Dental, we can help lower your risk of cavity development, infection, and other serious dental issues. Dental decay treatment removes decay before it has the chance to cause further tooth harm or damage.
• Fillings | When we detect a cavity, we will preserve your tooth by filling it with one of our tooth coloured fillings. Tooth coloured fillings blend in perfectly with your natural teeth and prevent cavities from spreading.
